Great time at National Night Out!

It was awesome seeing so many residents come out, spend time with their neighbors, and meet some of our first responders.

National Night Out is happening tonight! ⭐️

Held annually on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out brings neighbors together in all ten Aurora wards to strengthen community connections. It’s a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, connect with community partners, public safety officials, elected leaders, and City staff while enjoying a fun evening close to home.

The 2026 Aurora Special Census is now officially underway. Residents who live within the Special Census area will be receiving a LETTER from the U.S. Census Bureau this week containing a unique, 12-digit Census ID number.

Once you receive your Census ID number, visit https://portal.census.gov/specialcensus to complete the Special Census!

Your response can help the City receive additional federal funding that will assist with road maintenance, transportation projects, purchases of street salt, public safety, public works, community services, and special events.
