Here’s what’s happening this weekend in Aurora!
Friday, June 19
-4th Annual Scheketa Hart-Burns Aurora Juneteenth Flag Raising at Aurora University’s Main Quad (1347 Prairie St.) beginning at 2pm.
Saturday, June 20
- Don’t forget to stop by the Aurora Farmers Market (65 S. Water St.) starting at 8am for local produce, food vendors, handmade goods, and a great way to support local businesses.
- Christina Kahlo will be at La Quinta de Los Reyes (36 E. New York St.) at 10am for Family Legacies: Photography in the Kahlo Family.
- The Neighbor Project is hosting a volunteer workshop where residents can help beautify yet another property (788 Spring St) at 10am. All supplies will be provided!
- AANHPI is hosting a Hula Dance Class Fundraiser at Dance Fuze Studio (12 N. Broadway) at 1pm. Stop by, support the fundraiser, and enjoy a great community event.
- Blues on the Fox is back at RiverEdge Park (360 N. Broadway) with an incredible lineup featuring Tommy Castro and the Painkillers, Ally Venable, Eric Gales, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. - Mercado in Aurora is bringing Lucha Libre Night to Wilder Park (350 N. River St.) at 4pm! There will be vendors, small businesses, family-friendly attractions, and of course, Lucha Libre entertainment.
Sunday, June 21
- 12th International Day of Yoga 2026, celebrate International Day of Yoga with a community yoga event focused on healthy ageing at Wilder Park (350 N River St) beginning at 10:30 AM
