The Jennings Township Fire Department is accepting Sealed Bids on the following Surplus
Items. Bidding is open now until September 1st at 7:00p.m. . Bids will be opened and
awarded at the monthly business meeting in September. Bidding is open to everyone.

Bid process: All accepted bids will need to be placed in a sealed envelope:
1. Mailed to the Jennings Township Fire Department at P.O. Box 41 Austin IN, 47102
2. Dropped in mail box (Red Mailbox) on west side of Jennings Township Station 1 on
SR256
3. Placed in sealed envelope and dropped off on September 1, 2026 from 6pm-7pm at
Jennings Township Station 1.

All bids need to have lot number/s you are bidding on and the max bid amount for the item.
Your number and a good phone number to call if you win the item. In the event of a tie bid
the tied bidders will get a chance to make 1 final bid and high bidder wins.
Winners will be contacted to arrange pickup within 2 weeks of Bids closing. All items must
be paid for before or at pickup. NO Shipping for Any Items!!
Payment options are:
1. Cash
2. Good check with ID.
All Items are being sold AS IS with condition unknown. Items can be viewed at Jennings
Township Station 1 on August 25 6pm-7:30 or September 1 6-7pm. Other times can be
arranged by appointment.

Our 2026 Crusade for Children total raised in Austin was $9,656.48 but there is so much more to tell!

With the addition of Scottsburg Fire, Lexington Fire and a donation by the IOOF #555, the total donation contributed by Scott County is $48,106.30! All of the Scott County Fire Departments appreciate our generous community!
