Tonight we were able to put our Mako Cascade system in service. Our department has always relied on neighboring departments to fill our air bottles and now thanks to the Austin Redevelopment Commission we’re able to fill them right here at home.

We’re very appreciative of ARC for approving this project and investing in our department.

We would like to congratulate Chief DeWayne Lord on his retirement from the Johnson Township Volunteer Fire Department. DeWayne has committed 38 years to the fire service in Scott County.
