Unity Chapter #29 Order of the Eastern Star, Austin MN Unity Chapter OES is located in Austin, MN, and serves several communities in south central MN and surrounding areas. We do not meet in January or July.

Unity Chapter meets at 7:00 pm on the 2nd Mondays along with the 4th Mondays in April & September.

Unity Chapter #29 was proud to host the first Area Conference for Sister Toni M. and Brother Bryan B. on Sat. Aug. 22, 2026, in Austin, MN.

Approximately 55 members from surrounding Chapters attended. After lunch, Alex Lee, MN Masonic Home Administrator, made a presentation on the home and answered questions that those attending had.

At our August 10th meeting, Unity Chapter members honored Masons. WM Mary researched the significance of the bee and beehive and how it symbolizes Masonry. She talked about the significance of the slipper in the book of Ruth to Masonry. The introductory reading regarded the importance of the dues card...you'll be a stranger nowhere when you travel. WM Mary presented each Mason with her gifts.

Unity Chapter #29 and Fidelity Lodge #39 hosted a Scholarship Awards banquet on Tues, May 19, 2026. Students were honored guests, along with their parents. Neil H., Worthy Patron and Past Master, MC'd the event. The Scholarship Committee members presented certificates and checks to the student awardees. On behalf of the Scholarship Committee, WP Neil and Kathy F., PGM, GGCCM, presented the Eastern Star scholarships. WM Mary H., PGM, gave a response on behalf of Minnesota Masonic Charities. Minnesota Masonic Charities provided matching grants to add to the scholarships the students received, as well as the table favors.

Installation of Officers was held on April 12, 2026 for Unity Chapter. This years theme is "Our Minnesota".

WM Mary has 3 tables set up representing Austin, Minnesota, and MN Masonic Charities.
New information will be added at each meeting.

Gnomes and Hedgehogs are the fun symbols. Flowers are sunflowers and impatiens (ifkyk).
