What a great weekend across Central Texas!
With just 37 days to go until Election Day, there is no shortage of energy and activity across our community.
As Co-Chair of Texas Together, I joined a coordinated campaign block walk launch in Williamson County on Saturday, and on Sunday helped kick off another block walk with our good friend, Austin City Council Member Zo Qadri.
I also had the opportunity to spend time with AAPI community leaders at a neighborhood gathering in Brushy Creek, where we discussed this year’s election, civic participation, and how more people can get involved in shaping the future of our communities.
I was also honored to speak with members of the Texas State Employees Union at their General Assembly and hear directly from the public servants who work every day on behalf of Texans across our state.
And there was still a little time for some fun along the way! I attended the grand opening of COTALAND with members of my staff and some Capitol friends, and even made it to an absolutely wild Austin FC match Saturday night.
Let’s keep working all the way through Election Day!
