Safety and maintenance professionals from across the Texas trucking industry came at the end of September in San Marcos for three days of education, networking and industry connection. From the annual golf scramble and educational sessions to exhibitor networking, awards recognition and Casino Night, there was plenty happening throughout the seminar.

Attendees heard updates and insights on roadside inspections, FMCSA regulations, OSHA, technician training, 2027 engines, safety leadership, motor carrier credentialing and more. We also recognized our SMC and FMC award winners with their award jackets and rings following their recognition at the TXTA Annual Conference this summer.

Texas's own Wesley Salley of FedEx Freight USA has been crowned the TMCSuperTech 2026 Grand Champion!

Wesley placed 1st in TXTA's Technician of the Year Contest and went on to represent the state at American Trucking Associations's SuperTech competition in Pittsburgh last week. Congrats!
