The weather forecast is showing chances of Freezing Temperatures, Ice/Snow and Rain for next week.

Out of Pre-Caution, We would like to remind our Parents and Staff to look for updates via TPS Class Dojo and TPS social media for inclement weather updates that may impact School Day Operations.

We Will provide regular updates as the forecast develops.

Central Texas weather can be unpredictable and exhibit conditions that may impact our community and subsequently bring changes to the Texas Preparatory School Campus and its Operations.

As inclement weather is predicted or approaches, Texas Preparatory School will follow inclement/severe weather protocols to determine if an adjustment to school or office operations is necessary to ensure student, staff and community safety.

It is important to note that Texas Preparatory School observes and follows the decisions reached by Austin ISD for any closures or delays due to inclement or severe weather.

Inclement Weather decisions will be communicated here via TPS Austin Class Dojo School Story as soon as possible.

Communication will also be shared to Texas Preparatory School - Austin social media pages.

Please ensure that you and others responsible for transport of your students are not only connected to Class Dojo but also view the School Feed regularly to be in the know to these updates.

Please be advised that the Texas Preparatory School District office and school will be closed from November 25th to 29th for Fall Break. Normal school operations will resume on December 2nd.

Texas Preparatory School will be closed on Tuesday, November 5 for a Teacher Professional Development Day. This day is dedicated to providing our faculty with opportunities for continued learning and growth.
During this time, our teachers will engage in a variety of professional development activities designed to enhance their instructional skills and knowledge. These activities will directly benefit our students by improving the quality of education they receive.
