The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement was honored to present the State of Texas Law Enforcement Achievement Award to Officer Chris Cano of the Belton Police Department.

Officer Cano risked his own safety when he confronted a wrong way driver on I-35. Aware that the inside shoulder ended soon, he made the conscious decision to position his patrol vehicle directly in the path and stop the oncoming threat.
