We’re proud to celebrate the incredible creativity of our residents whose artwork was featured as part of Artly World’s Joy for Seniors exhibition at the Texas State Capitol.

Through art, our residents had the opportunity to share their stories, memories, and perspectives while showcasing the creativity that continues to enrich our communities. Seeing their work displayed in the Texas Capitol is a meaningful reminder that every voice, every story, and every stage of life deserves to be seen and celebrated.

We are grateful to Artly World Nonprofit for creating opportunities that foster connection, creativity, and joy for seniors across Greater Austin. 💙

On Friday, August 7, the Housing Authority of Travis County (HATC) will help prepare local students for a successful school year by providing backpacks and essential school supplies to the children and families we serve.

At HATC, we believe every child deserves to start the school year with confidence, dignity, and the tools they need to learn and succeed. With your support, we can help make that possible.

Whether you choose to sponsor backpacks, donate school supplies, or make a monetary contribution, your generosity will have a direct impact on the lives of our HATC students.

Join us on Thursday, May 14 at 6:00 PM for a virtual information session to learn how the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program can help you build savings while working toward your personal and financial goals. If you are unable to attend on the 14th, there is a second session available May 28th.

Yesterday we swore in our newest Commissioner, Hala Farid who stands alongside Jolene Keene (second from the left), who was sworn in on January.
We've been so lucky to get two outstanding community leaders on our Board of Commissioners this year.

We love to brag about them. Each person on our Board brings a plethora of experience, leadership, and advocacy for those we serve each day.

If you haven't met our Board of Commissioners yet, allow us to introduce you:
On the far left, we have our TCFC President, Sharal Brown. Next, we have our TCFC VP, Jolene Keene.
In the middle, Hala Farid. To Hala's right, stands our HATC Chair and HATC Foundation President, Laura Goettsche. To the right, is Wilmer Roberts, who is the VP of the HATC Foundation.
