For more than seven years, Christin has been part of the Mary Lee Foundation family, building a meaningful career centered around service, advocacy, and helping others thrive.
Before joining Mary Lee, Christin worked with an Austin Public Health project helping individuals experiencing homelessness transition into stable housing during the COVID-19 pandemic. When that project ended, she knew she wanted to continue working in a field focused on serving others. That led her to the Mary Lee Foundation and as she says, “The rest is history!”
Today, Christin serves as a Case Manager, working alongside the people we serve to help them reach their goals, connect with resources, build independence, and improve their quality of life.
What she loves most about her career is knowing she has the opportunity to make a difference. “Watching someone overcome challenges, gain confidence, and accomplish goals is incredibly rewarding. Seeing a smile on someone's face after they've worked so hard reminds me why I chose this profession.”
One of Christin’s favorite memories was taking a group to the ballet. The clients were completely captivated by the dancers, and Christin was able to share that she was once a dancer herself. It became a special moment of connection and a memory she continues to treasure.
When asked what makes the Mary Lee Foundation special, Christin’s answer was simple: “Family.” She believes that compassion, love, support, and acceptance are what make Mary Lee feel like home.
Christin earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Psychology in May 2025 and continues to bring patience, empathy, and genuine compassion to everything she does.
