Notice Regarding School Bus Service Discontinuation

Dear Families,

Unfortunately, due to low student enrollment in our bus service, we will no longer be able to provide transportation services going forward.

Starting Tuesday, September 8th (NO CLASSES ON MONDAY 9/7), all students will need to be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support as we make this transition. If you have any questions or need assistance coordinating alternative arrangements, please contact the main office.

Lamentablemente, debido a la baja inscripción de estudiantes en nuestro servicio de autobús, ya no podremos ofrecer transporte escolar en lo sucesivo.

Safety Week Highlight: Meeting Our First Responders! 🚨

Our students had the best time today celebrating Safety Week with a visit from both our local Fire Department and EMS team! 🚒🚑

The kids loved exploring the fire engine and climbing inside the ambulance to see how all the life-saving equipment works. They had so many great questions for the crew, learning not just about safety, but also how firefighters and paramedics help people every single day.

¡Nuestros estudiantes se divirtieron muchísimo hoy celebrando la Semana de la Seguridad con la visita del Departamento de Bomberos y del equipo de servicios médicos de emergencia (EMS) de nuestra localidad! 🚒🚑

A los niños les encantó explorar el camión de bomberos y subir a la ambulancia para ver cómo funciona todo el equipo de salvamento. Hicieron muchas preguntas interesantes a los equipos, aprendiendo no solo sobre seguridad, sino también sobre cómo los bomberos y paramédicos ayudan a las personas todos los días.

Safety first! Today, our PreK-3 through 2nd graders completed our first practice fire drill of the school year.

Drills are an important part of keeping our school community safe and prepared. Everyone did an amazing job listening carefully and walking outside safely and quickly! 🚒✨

¡La seguridad es lo primero! Hoy, nuestros alumnos desde PreK-3 hasta segundo grado realizaron el primer simulacro de incendio del año escolar.

Los simulacros son fundamentales para mantener a nuestra comunidad escolar segura y preparada. ¡Todos hicieron un trabajo excelente: escucharon con atención y salieron al exterior de manera segura y rápida! 🚒✨

We are excited to share that Harmony Online Learning (HOL) is now a Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA)-approved provider!

Eligible Texas families can now use their Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) funds to enroll students in Harmony Online Learning courses, providing families with even more flexibility and choice in meeting their students' educational needs.

Harmony Online Learning (HOL) is a flexible, supplemental online course provider serving not only Harmony students, but also students across Texas and beyond. Families can select and enroll in individual courses based on their students' academic needs and goals.

HOL offers self-paced online courses supported by certified teachers for students in Grades 3–12, with nearly 200 course options, including:

Elementary, middle, and high school core subjects
Honors and AP courses
World languages
Electives and enrichment opportunities

Whether you are looking for a complete curriculum or individual courses to supplement your homeschool program, Harmony Online Learning provides flexible options designed to meet the unique educational needs and goals of students and families.

Getting Started Is Easy
Log in to your Odyssey Marketplace account.
Search for Harmony Online Learning.
Browse our available courses and make your selections.
Proceed to checkout using your TEFA funds.
Once your purchase is complete, our team will contact you by email to finalize your student's registration and enrollment.

📅 Classes begin August 18, and late enrollment is accepted. Families may enroll after the start date, providing additional flexibility for students to get started.

We made it through Week 1! 🥳✨

It has been such a joy seeing all of the bright, smiling faces filling our classrooms and hallways this week. Starting a new school year always brings so much energy, and our students (and teachers!) did an amazing job settling in.
A huge thank you to all of our families for your support, patience, and partnership in making this first week a success. We can already tell it’s going to be a fantastic year!

Dear Harmony Parents and Community,
What a wonderful first day of school! It was great to see our hallways and classrooms filled with students again. Throughout the day, we saw students engaging in their classrooms, making new friends, reconnecting with old ones and getting to know their teachers. Our teachers and staff were just as excited to welcome everyone back and begin a new school year together!
Dismissal Update — Day 1: Today's dismissal took approximately 35 minutes. Our goal is 25 minutes, so we have room to improve — and we will, together. A few quick reminders that will help tomorrow:
Please have your dismissal tag/car plate visible on your dashboard.
Please only load from the passenger site and in the right side lane.
Please pull all the way forward before stopping.
If your student is a walker he/she will be dismissed through the walker exit (by the courtyard), if your student is a car rider they will be picked by the lobby.
When you are walking please use the sidewalk.
Clubs and tutorials will send sign ups soon.
Scholar Spotlight — Our scholars kicked off the year with classroom community-building activities and got to meet their teachers and new classmates.
Thank you again for your patience and for following our traffic plan. Every bit of cooperation helps us get our scholars home safely and on time.
