The Abilene Airtanker Base officially loaded its 1 millionth gallon of retardant in 2026. That's just this year, folks. The milestone moment came when Tanker 102 reloaded to support the Ross Fire in Palo Pinto County. Shout out and thanks to Texas A&M Forest Service!!
