ππ A special moment for ! ππ
Earlier this week, Paris ISD counselor Andrea Irwin was officially recognized as the 2026 Counselor of the Year by the Texas Rural Education Association during the organization's annual conference in Round Rock.
Mrs. Irwin received her award in front of educators from across the state, celebrating her dedication to supporting students, families, and staff each day. Paris ISD Assistant Superintendent Gary Preston was honored to be present for the award presentation and help celebrate this well-deserved recognition. Also in attendance were retired Paris ISD Superintendent Paul Jones and his wife, Kathryn, who joined in recognizing Andrea's outstanding accomplishment.
We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Irwin and the positive impact she makes on the lives of our Wildcats. Her commitment to helping students succeed is felt throughout our district, and this state-level honor is a reflection of the difference she makes every day.
Congratulations, Mrs. Irwin! Thank you for representing Paris ISD and with excellence. ππΎ
