Scottish Rite Dormitory SRD provides a safe and nurturing living environment for women (AFAB), 17-24y/o at UT Austin.

Scottish Rite Dormitory, known affectionately as SRD since 1922, is situated on seven expansive and gorgeous acres just one block north of The University of Texas at Austin.

SRD To Hear Game
Girls of the Scottish Rite Dormitory will follow the progress of the Texas-Harvard game at a radio dinner at 1 o’clock today. A wire has been leased and loud speakers have been set up in the dining room of the dormitory so that the girls will not miss the first part of the game during the noon hour.

Kappa Panties in Littlefield Fountain

In 1955 all the sorority pledges in the Scottish Rite Dormitory were discussing ways to “haze” their senior active sorority members. As president of the Kappa pledge class, I felt it my duty to do something more spectacular than, say, the Alpha Chi Omega pledges—not understanding, of course, that I had just pledged one of the most conservative groups on campus. I was very surprised to discover that some of my fellow Kappa pledges took my suggestions seriously, making a raid on the underwear drawers in the Kappa house. I crossed the campus, met my pledge sisters at the Littlefield Fountain arms piled high with (white) un**es and waded right into the water.
