In Texas, over 1 million voters are on a suspense list, which means their County of residence thinks they have moved or don't have a working mailing address on file! Be prepared to vote in November by checking to ensure your voter registration status is still active. Visit Bexar County Election's website here to confirm you're on the roll before you visit the poll: https://www.bexar.org/2229/Voter-Registration-Check-Polling-Locatio
If your status is suspended, you'll need to update your address to be removed from the suspense list. If you want to vote in the Midterm Election, you'll have to finish updating your information by October 5 -- the voter registration deadline. You can do so at this Secretary of State webpage: https://txapps.texas.gov/tolapp/sos/SOSACManager? You'll need an additional identification document to complete this process: a current driver's license or ID, Social Security number and Voter Unique Identifier Number, or VUID, which is on your registration card. If you can't find your voter registration card, you can also locate your VUID number with your county voter registrar.
