The Welcome Center is a multicultural center that welcomes newcomers, supports them in their transition into the community, and provides access and opportunities for self-sufficiency. Advocacy and Client Services- We connect clients with necessary community resources to address medical, social, community, legal, financial, educational, employment and other needs. Language Services- Our diverse sta

ff helps with interpretations and translations of documents, emails and phone calls for the client. We work with the school district to provide interpreters for registration and conferences. Our organization facilitates communication between businesses and limited-English speaking clients. Community Building- Our community programs are aimed at fostering diversity, inclusion, and cultural education.

We’re excited to join the community at the 4th Ave Fest on Wednesday, June 3 from 4–7 PM at Horace Austin Park!

Stop by and enjoy a fun-filled evening with open swim, food trucks, canoe & kayak activities, art making, health screenings, and more. This is a FREE family event where everyone is welcome!

What an incredible day at Taste of Nations 2026! 🌍✨

Thank you to the 1,000 community members who stopped by on May 16 to celebrate culture, community, and connection with us. Your support and energy made this event so special. 💜

A huge thank you to all of our amazing food vendors, craft vendors, community resource organizations, staff and volunteers for helping make this event possible. We are also incredibly grateful to the students who helped us begin the event by singing the national anthem. 🎶
