💧 Drink plenty of water
🌳 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning
👕 Wear lightweight clothing
👀 Check on older adults, children, and pets

🌡️ High temps + high humidity this week = HOT and dangerous! Take a few minutes to learn the signs of heat-related illness.

⚠️ Heat exhaustion:
• Heavy sweating
• Dizziness or weakness
• Headache
• Nausea
• Cool, clammy skin
✔ Move to a cool place immediately
✔ Drink water
✔ Rest and cool down

🚨 Heat stroke:
• High body temperature
• Confusion
• Hot, red skin
• Loss of consciousness
📞 Call 911 immediately

Drink lots of water, wear lightweight clothing, and avoid spending too much time out in the heat!

Your first instinct on a 90-degree day may be to get in the car, crank the AC to max and sit there, but there’s a much faster way to clear out stagnant air. ⤵️

And remember: a parked car gets dangerously hot instantly. Never leave a child alone in a vehicle — not even for a second.

✔ Create and practice a family emergency plan

✔ Stay weather aware and aware of your surroundings
✔ Know multiple routes to and from frequently visited locations
