Welcome to Anderson Mill Limited District

Anderson Mill Limited District was created 12/31/2008 at 12:01 AM as part of the Strategic Partnership Agreement signed in 1998, and amended in 2004, between the City of Austin and the Anderson Mill Municipal Utility District. This agreement's goal was to allow for a relatively smooth transition into the inevitable annexation of Anderson Mill by the City

of Austin. Copies of these documents are available on this site on the Limited District page. The Limited District was ratified and given taxing authority by an election of the voters in the District on May 9, 2009. The District is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by the residents and who must be residents of the District. The terms are staggered with 2 or 3 positions on the Board elected every 2 years. Elections are held on the first Saturday in May every two years. Anderson Mill is a community of approximately 11,000 residents. The Limited District's mission is to provide quality, safe and accessible recreation programs, facilities and parks that meet the leisure service needs of Anderson Mill. Thank you for your continued support and feedback as we strive to anticipate and meet the various recreational needs of residents. Enjoy perusing our website.
