Thanks to everyone who joined us tonight for the Liberal Austin Democrats Demo Club Happy Hour at Busty's Bar & Jukebox! We had a great crowd of friends, candidates, fellow Democratic clubs, and lots of new faces. A big thank you to Austin Young Democrats, Northeast Travis County Democrats - NETCo Dems, South Austin Democrats, Central Austin Democrats, and Stonewall Democrats of Austin for joining us and helping make it such a great evening.

We had at least eight people attend tonight who had never been to a political event before but wanted to find a way to get involved. That’s exactly what these happy hours are about—an easy, fun entry point, devoid of speechifying, where people can actually connect, meet some folks, and find their place in our Democratic community. Thanks to everyone who came out, especially those who joined us for the first time!

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us at The Golden Horn for our first Demo Club Happy Hour cohosted by LAD, NETCO, CAD, & Stonewall of 2026. With LAD, Central Austin Democrats, Northeast Travis County Democrats - NETCo Dems, and Stonewall Democrats of Austin all coming together, it was a fantastic crowd and a great way to kick off our summer break from regular meetings. Always good to spend time with friends and fellow progressives from across Austin.
