Blazier Elementary opened its doors to students for the first time on August 27, 2007. Blazier who is a prominent local attorney and ardent public education supporter. Blazier founded Blazier, Rutland & Lerner, P.C. in 1976, and has remained the president of the Firm, now Blazier, Christensen, Bigelow & Virr, P.C.. He is a passionate leader in the Austin community for systemic change in public edu

cation. Blazier is the founder of the Seedling Foundation, which provides mentors for children of incarcerated parents and works with the Austin Independent School District for campus beautification. He has also served as Chair of Austin Partners in Education (2002-2003), and helped implement a number of initiatives, such as seeking logistical technology support from governmental entities and private businesses for high schools and middle schools in AISD. Blazier has been recognized for his great commitment to children over the years. We are very proud to share his name!

Blazier Families - Don't forget your peanut butter jars! 🥜 Bring them to school this week and turn them in to your teachers!

We are joining forces with Akins High School and helping their football team collect Peanut Butter Jars to win the Peanut Butter Bowl! It is only for ONE WEEK! All donations will go to local food pantries. The top class at each school gets a PIZZA🍕party with a the Akins football players, cheerleaders and Akie the Eagle! 🦅

¡Estamos uniendo fuerzas con Akins High School y ayudando a su equipo de fútbol a recolectar tarros de mantequilla de maní para ganar el Peanut Butter Bowl! ¡Es solo por UNA SEMANA! 📣📣It’s back!!! We are excited to kick off our ANNUAL Peanut Butter Bowl Challenge. Last year, Akins and Blazier put up an impressive stat with 2,623 jars collected! This year, we’re going after that record! The class with the MOST jars will get a pizza party delivered by the football team and the cheer squad! It was a great time last year when Akins delivered pizza at both schools!! 🍕🦅

This is a great way to support the Akins Eagles Football Team 🏈 to collect peanut butter jars that will go towards Hungry Souls a non-profit organization that stocks food pantries across Central Texas!

Last year our classes got pretty competitive! Let's see who comes in first place this year! 🥇 Bring your jars of peanut butter to school all week long! 🥜
