Dear Harmony Families and Staff,

As we prepare to observe National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15), we want to honor and elevate the rich cultures, histories, and traditions that make our Harmony community so vibrant.

This year, we are launching a special community spotlight titled "How I Celebrate My Heritage," and we want to feature our staff and families!

We are inviting all students, staff, and families to share how you honor your Hispanic culture and traditions. Submissions will be featured across our official Harmony social media channels throughout the month.

Ways You Can Contribute
We welcome all forms of creative expression and personal sharing, including:

Culinary Arts: Photos of your favorite family recipes, traditional dishes, or cooking moments.
Visual Arts: Paintings, drawings, crafts, or photos of traditional clothing and costumes.
Written Words: Poems, short essays, personal stories, or family reflections.
Music & Movement: Short video clips of dance performances, musical instruments, or singing.
Memories & Celebrations: Photos from family gatherings, cultural festivals, or community events. ..and so much more!

Thank you for helping us make Hispanic Heritage Month a meaningful and beautiful celebration of our diverse Harmony family. We cannot wait to see and share your wonderful contributions!

This week, we celebrate the freedoms we share and the civic principles that connect our communities. As students explore the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, they will deepen their understanding of the rights and responsibilities that shape our country.

Together, we’re inspiring informed, engaged citizens who are ready to make a positive difference.
