Gay & Allied Freedom First Texans

Gay & Allied Freedom First Texans News and history for limited government gay and allied conservatives and libertarians. But, we will not play favorites.

With the leftist monopoly of the so-called "LGBT" media, and the hesitancy of conservative media to fairly cover the same, we are creating the first (and currently only) conservative pro-liberty gay media service in the world. If it's true and of legitimate interest, it's fair game to report.

Progressive-liberal reporter concedes NOT ALL G**S are "UNDER ATTACK" with story on the election of the FIRST openly gay member of the State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) at the 2026 state convention of the Republican Party of Texas. Justin P. Nichols, is a prominent San Antonio lawyer with a wide diversity of clients, including many gay business owners, and is also VP of the San Antonio chapter of the Texas Conservative Liberty Forum (TCLF SA). TCLF SA, under Nichols representation, was recently involved in a lawsuit against the city of San Antonio over its plan to use $170k of taxpayer money, without a proper vote, to install rainbow sidewalks.

Nichols was initially appointed to fill a vacancy for Senate District 26. Last Friday, June 12, he was elected in his own right, despite a campaign of vitriol directed at him because of his and his clientele's sexuality. Unfortunately for the anti-gay campaign claiming to stand up for "Christian values" one of the two leaders of the campaign was a former all-nude dancer and convicted felon. Full report by Andrea Drusch at the San Antonio Report in comments. Note: Although the report describes Nichols as "LGBTQ+", he is reportedly not le***an, bisexual, trans, q***r, or anything under the plus sign category.

Justin Nichols, whose legal practice has long represented the LGBTQ+ community, challenged the GOP convention to redefine "family values."

The Advocate reports that what they call "LGBT"-friendly policies are declining in conservative states while getting 'better' in liberal states. They quote from a "Business Climate" index suggesting woke "pro-LGBT" is good business. Not so fast. Taking the 'worst' and 'best' from their own report, we compared their economies over the last 4 years. We found that between the two groups of states, the Woke ‘pro-LGBT’ vs the conservative not woke states, the conservative states outperformed the so-called "pro-LGBT” on a wide range of categories. The contrast could not be sharper. See our comparison below.

2021-2025 Top Woke “LGBT” States vs Most Conservative non-Woke States

Group 1 -Conservative/Non-Woke
Arkansas
Tennessee
Idaho
South Carolina
Florida

Population growth: Very strong
Domestic migration: Large net inflows
Housing construction: Generally higher
Employment growth: Faster
Real GDP growth: Generally above U.S. average
Cost of Living: Lower (index 95-96% to 100 for US average)

Group 2 - Liberal/Woke "Pro-LGBT"
Massachusetts
New York
Connecticut
New Jersey
Illinois

Population growth: Weak to modest
Domestic migration: Often flat or negative
Housing construction: Generally lower
Employment growth: Slower
Real GDP growth: Generally near or below U.S. average
Cost of Living: Lower (index 120% to 100 for US average)

Average wages were higher in the Woke states, but of course, this was offset by the much higher cost of living in those states.

: "Homosexuality has no place in America" - Republican Tennessee US. House Rep Andy Ogles

Ted Cruz response, excerpt from story in comments:

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), a staunch conservative who opposes same-sex marriage, told TMZ that for “all of recorded history, homosexuals have been part of humanity.”

“You know, I’ve got to say I’m libertarian by nature,” Cruz said. “I think the behavior of consenting adults is their business.”

The story also quotes George Santos. It's unclear why anybody cares what he has to say about right and wrong.

: PinkNews misleads its readers when it says the proposed referendum that would "restrict transgender students’ access to school sports and bathrooms." On the contrary, the referendum would require the exact same access to school sports and bathrooms for trans students as for everyone else. Trans students would NOT be denied access to restrooms or school sports.

Maine’s secretary of state, Shenna Bellows, has removed a proposed referendum that would restrict transgender students’ access to school sports and bathrooms from the November ballot after finding more than 12,000 petition signatures were invalid.

MASSIE CAMPAIGN TAKES ON (UNSUCCESSFULLY) 'GAY MAFIA'

Excerpt from Daily Wire:
One ad, created by pro-Massie PAC Hold the Line, claimed that “the gay mafia” would “own” Gallrein if he won, and pointed to Gallrein’s billionaire Jewish donor Paul Singer as the prime example. The ad featured the LGBTQ+ flag overlaying the Star of David, called Singer a “pro-gay, pro-trans activist working with far-Left, hardcore Democrats,” and claimed that Singer would “bring his trans madness to Kentucky.”

In the final hours of the campaign, Massie’s team fired off a text blast that featured an endorsement from President Donald Trump. The endorsement was a real one, but it was from 2022 — and Massie’s campaign removed the date to make it appear as if it were current.

President Trump fired off a quick response via social media, demanding that Massie withdraw the “FAKE STATEMENT” immediately.
