As our crews continue to respond to storm-related calls, we understand that several residents are still without power. If you are currently using a generator, please use caution and remember the following:

• Always use generators outside, at least 20 feet from your home and away from doors, windows, and vents.

• Never operate a generator in a garage, basement, or enclosed space—even with the door open.

• Install and maintain working carbon monoxide (CO) alarms in your home.

• Let the generator cool before refueling, and never add fuel while it’s running.

• Plug appliances directly into the generator or use a heavy-duty extension cord rated for outdoor use.

Please continue to stay safe, and don’t hesitate to call if you need us!

All 4 stations are currently staffed with multiple personnel and we are receiving several calls regarding the storm that came through the township. We are working diligently to have trucks respond to these calls as quickly as possible. Please remember the following.

🚨 Call 911 for emergencies such as:
• Downed power lines / live wires arcing
• Trees blocking roadways or trapping people
• Structure fires or smoke
• Gas leaks
• Medical emergencies
• People in immediate danger

⚠️ Non-emergencies include:
• Trees or limbs down in your yard that aren’t creating a hazard / cable or telephone lines
• Minor flooding with no immediate danger
• Power outages (report these to your electric utility)
• General storm cleanup

Please stay away from downed power lines, never drive through flooded roadways, and use caution if you must travel.
