Big news from the Ernie Williamson Music family!
We are thrilled to announce that Ernie Williamson Music has acquired Heyday Music in Ozark, Missouri. Effective May 1st, Heyday officially joins the EWM family, and we could not be more excited about what that means for music students across the Ozarks.
For more than 90 years, our mission has been simple: create lifelong music makers. From our very first store to seven locations across Missouri and Kansas, everything we do comes back to that. This acquisition is a natural extension of that mission, and it brings us into one of the most vibrant and growing communities in the region.
Heyday was founded by acclaimed singer-songwriter and KY3 host Nate Sallie and his wife Sarah. What they built in Ozark is something truly special: a bright, welcoming studio where students of all ages find their love for music and dance. We are honored to carry that torch, and we have zero interest in changing the heart of what Heyday already is.
The Heyday name stays. The teachers stay. And the mission gets even stronger.
Our VP of Education, Misty Kristek, will be leading the charge in Ozark, bringing with her years of experience building outstanding lesson programs across our locations. New studio equipment is already going in this week. And Nate and Sarah will be sticking around through the transition to make sure things are done right.
This is what Ernie Williamson Music does: we show up for musicians, for students, and for communities. We are proud to now be doing that in Ozark.
