๐Ÿ‘Ÿ๐ŸŽฝ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐ŸIn honor of International Day of Charity we are featuring the first annual Tim Kerr charity race from 1989 which raised money for the Helen L. Diller Home for the Blind, the Leader Eye Dog Program, and the Blind Athletes Assoc. of NJ.

Philadelphia Flyers general manager Bobby Clarke, team physical therapist and conditioning coach Pat Croce, and forward Mike Bullard ran in the race and the event was followed by a family festival held at Community Hall.

The Tim Kerr 7 Mile Island Run is in its 37th year and still going strong!

๐Ÿ“ทPictured are a ball cap with the Tim Kerr Charities logo, the starting line from the first race in 1989, and a picture of Tim Kerr (L) shaking hands with Bill Diller (R) featured in The Avalon Report Fall 1989 edition.
