On today’s date, we remember Firefighter Jeremy LaBella, who gave his life in service to our city on February 4, 2007.

Annually, family, friends, and brothers gather to remember the life of Jeremy and to memorialize him.

While words will never be enough, we pray that God wraps his arms around those that were closest to Jeremy in warm embrace and comfort.

Rest in Peace, brother.

Light, fluffy snow – even in large amounts – usually isn’t a problem, but ice and heavy snow can weigh down trees and power lines. Snow covered roads may also slow down our crews as they work. If an outage happens, we’ll be out there doing everything we can to get your power back on as safely and quickly as possible.

⚠️ If you must go outdoors, stay alert for downed power lines, which can be hidden by heavy snow. Stay 30+ feet away and report them ASAP to 911.

Please take shoveling seriously. People can and do have major heart attacks while shoveling snow.
