The 2026–2027 school year is officially underway at RSUSD! It was wonderful to see our students reconnect with friends, make new ones, and fill our campuses with excitement once again.

Our teachers and staff worked hard to prepare their classrooms, welcome new faces, and get ready to create new memories and exciting adventures in learning!

We wish all of our students, staff, and families an amazing school year filled with learning, growth, success, and unforgettable moments.

🎉 RSUSD Welcome Back Rally 2026–2027! 🎉

What an incredible way to kick off the new school year! Today, we welcomed new staff members to the RSUSD family, recognized our dedicated employees for their years of service, and were inspired by a motivational speaker who reminded us that every interaction we have can make a lasting difference in the lives of our students.

Of course, the fun didn't stop there! Our schools brought the energy with plenty of friendly competition. From cheering our hearts out to an unforgettable mascot dance-off, school spirit was on full display!

Congratulations to the KCES Coyotes for dancing their way to the top and taking home the mascot dance-off championship!

Here's to a fantastic 2026–2027 school year filled with new beginnings, meaningful connections, and endless opportunities for our students to succeed. Let's make it our best year yet!

Reef-Sunset Unified School District will be closed on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for our District All Staff Meeting.

🏫 The District Office and school sites will reopen shortly after the meeting.
