COMMUNITY STRONG 💪🇺🇸

When we heard that the local Lions Club was stepping up to renovate the pavilion at Eley Memorial Park, the Avilla Police Department knew we wanted to be part of the effort. Several of our officers traded in their patrol duties for work gloves and joined fellow volunteers to help tear down old materials, install new paneling, and get the pavilion cleaned up and ready for the upcoming Freedom Festival.

We are incredibly excited for this year’s Freedom Festival and the opportunity it provides to connect with the amazing people who make Avilla such a special place to live, work, and raise a family. Building relationships outside of emergency situations is one of the most rewarding parts of serving this community.

A huge thank you goes out to the Lions Club and every volunteer who dedicated their time and energy to improving one of our community gathering spaces. Projects like this remind us what can be accomplished when neighbors come together for a common purpose.

As always, if you’re planning a community event, please keep the Avilla Police Department in mind. We welcome opportunities to partner with local organizations, support community initiatives, and continue strengthening the relationships between law enforcement and the citizens we proudly serve.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Freedom Festival!
