This morning the Avilla Fire Department participated in a County Wide Hazardous Material Incident drill at Terra Supreme Battery in Albion. Thank you to Terra Supreme for allowing us to use their facilities. As well as the Noble County Emergency Management Agency and the LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) for there work in putting this on.

Great job from all involved.

📢 🚨The Local Emergency Planning Committee will be conducting a training exercise in Albion this morning, Saturday August 15th the area of SR 8 & 150 E. You may notice a large Emergency vehicle presence - nothing to be alarmed about. This is a training exercise only.

The Fire Department will be out training this evening between 6:00 PM–8:00 PM, practicing truck placement and reviewing hydrant locations throughout the community.

Please don’t be alarmed if you see a fire truck parked in front of or near your home—this is part of our training exercise. Thank you for your understanding and support!
