The book barn was brought into being by a few members of the Avis United Methodist Church. It is a free little library set up adjacent to the church parking lot. The purpose of the library is to provide a little book exchange location for the Avis and neighbouring communities where people can safely visit and either drop off a book they wish to share or take a book they wish to read. Feel free to sign the guestbook inside the barn so we know who visits us and what kind of books you like to read. We will also be adding a little first aid kit since we are right next to the playground for treating little boo boo's.
