Today was truly the end of an era—Ms. Kathy’s last day at AGS! 💙💛

We surprised her on Friday during our Eagle Squad assembly. Afterwards, this year’s 8th graders came down for a very special photo with Ms. Kathy—her very first Pre-K class alongside her very last. 🥹 We celebrated her again today with a staff potluck!

It was such a bittersweet day. Ms. Kathy has touched so many lives throughout her years at AGS, and she will be missed more than words can say. Please join us in wishing her all the best in this next chapter! 🦅

We have the perfect opportunity for a dependable high school or college student!

Aviston Elementary is looking for a part-time evening custodian to assist with routine cleaning each evening. The hours are somewhat flexible (after 3 pm) and will generally consist of a 3-4 hour shift on weekdays.

It is a great chance to earn extra cash and still stay on top of school work!

If you are committed, dependable and able to follow directions to complete tasks, then we want to hear from you!

🚲 This bike has been enjoying an extended summer vacation outside the new wing entrance by the music room windows. While we admire its commitment to school, we’re pretty sure someone is missing it!
