Navy Reserve Center Avoca Welcome to Navy Reserve Center Avoca’s official government page. We are Navy Reserve Center Avoca, PA. Also known as NRC Avoca. Navy.

We serveover 100 Navy Reserve personnel and are staffed with 13 Training and Adminsitrative Resevre Sailors. Navy Reserve Center Avoca’s Change of Command ceremony was held with the retirement of LCDR Howard T. Maits after 28 years of honorable Naval service. LCDR Maits is relieved by LCDR Andrew W. Skaros, formerly attached to CNFRC N63, and will adventure into retirement alongside his bride, Wydeth.
