Thank you to the staff and management of Patrick's Bar & Grille for the great squad party tonight. The food and drinks were excellent as was the service! The Avon First Aid Squad is blessed to have members who have volunteered for
our residents 24 hours a day year round!

This evening, the squad held a brief monthly business meeting then celebrated the Holidays with delicious food catered by Shore Good Eats n' Treats. Contractors that have volunteered their time and skills for the good of the squad, and 3 Avon by the Sea Police Department officers were presented with certificates as honorary members.

During our party we also celebrated Ryann Bannerman and Kevin Higgins on their successful completion of the William Voelkel EMT Program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center! Next step: taking (and passing) the NREMT.

Last night members celebrated another year’s worth of volunteerism and accomplishments.
Trustee/EMR Jason Downing was awarded the ‘First Responder of the Year’ for his ongoing dedication to the squad.
Mayor Bonanno presented a proclamation thanking and honoring long-time member and ex-president Bart Barry.
Also pictured are 7 new EMTs dedicating their time to the borough.
