Proudly serving the community of Avon and beyond with all animal related issues; reuniting lost pets with their homes, and offering respite to lost and possibly abused animals. In the spring, Avon Animal Control hosts a lower-cost rabies vaccination and licensing clinic in conjunction with Animal General Veterinary, as well as offering educational information.

~ just in time for Halloween, we have 4 adorable black kittens awaiting their loving homes. We hope to keep them in pairs, it truly helps their psychology. They were rescued from a dangerous situation, will be ready to leave their mama within 10 days. Sometimes it takes a village… This just-born kitten was found by a concerned citizen. New Britain Animal Control put a post up on Emergency network. I was able to triage her and get most of the fly strike off before getting her to Animal Friends Of CT. Working across agencies is a powerful force in rescue efforts!
