Sign Design and Awning is actively looking for a Production Assistant to join our team!
Job Description:
• Perform all aspects of sign, banner, and large format print production process, workflow and activities, including pre-press, vinyl plotting, weeding, printer operation, finishing and application/installation.
• Maintain a high level of product quality and artisanship.
• Innovate and embrace project challenges to find the best and most cost-effective client solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Perform all manner of table work including but not limited to laminating, cutting, trimming, weeding, masking, painting, applying vinyl to substrates.
• Operate powered shop tools.
• Full vehicle graphic wraps, vinyl lettering; including but not limited to installation of graphic applications on all types of vehicles, fleet graphics, truck sides, and windows.
• Travel to and from installation worksites, if necessary.
• Be constantly aware of projects and due dates.
• Monitor quality of projects. Attention to detail is a must.
• Assist in maintaining neat and orderly work sites and work station.
• Perform all duties in a manner consistent with the spirit of teamwork.
• Perform all additional tasks as required by management.

• Meet physical demands of typical activities such as standing, walking, climbing or balancing, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to assume responsibility and act independently.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of illustrator, digital printing, and vinyl is a PLUS
• WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18-20/hr
Schedule:
• Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Education:
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
