There is a new project underway through Livingston County called TRANSFORMATION STRATEGY and Avon is taking part in it.

The Grow LivCo Downtown Transformation Strategy uses the Main Street America model to create customized, 3–5-year work plans for each village's downtown district. These plans provide a focused, data driven path to economic revitalization and help us identify key opportunities for our downtown in today's economic environment.

We’ve tried for a more convenient time but because of the consultants schedule, they will be coming to Avon on August 26 from 1-4pm and in the week of Sept. 14. (Exact date and time will be announced later). There will be more opportunities for community input and I hope with more lead-time..

We want public input so we will schedule more engagement activities over this 7 month initiatives.
