Our vision is for Hendricks County to be a community that values and enjoys mental well-being and which empowers its members to treat one another with dignity and mutual respect.

Many of our staff and clubhouse members are attending Clubhouse International training the next two weeks to learn, connect, and grow. We're gathering new ideas, practical tools, and proven practices that will help us build on the momentum we've created this year and strengthen our Clubhouse for the future.
We ask for your grace and patience with our team during this time as we invest in training that will ultimately benefit our members and strengthen our Clubhouse community.
While many of us are away, the Clubhouse will remain open for resources, connection, and lunch on Monday and Wednesday this week, and Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday next week.
We'll be back soon—refreshed, inspired, and ready to put our learning into action!

Open Door Clubhouse spent Memorial Day the best way we know how — together! 🇺🇸☀️ Delicious BBQ, sunshine, Skip-Bo battles, laughs, and good company made for a great day.
We may be small, but we are mighty… and growing quickly! Thank you to everyone helping make our clubhouse a place of connection, support, and community every single day. ❤️

Friday evening was full of smiles, music, and great company as our clubhouse members and staff enjoyed a fun social outing to hear The Time Travelers, a Indiana based band, perform on the square in Danville! Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the music, delicious food, and some yummy ice cream. Fun was definitely had by all, and we are so thankful for another great evening together in the community!

This free program is a powerful resource for anyone supporting a loved one living with a mental illness; offering education, connection, and hope in a welcoming space.

We love seeing our community come together to support one another. If you or someone you know could benefit, this is a great place to start.

🚨 Clubhouse Breaking News 🚨

Today’s lunch came with a surprise twist… our garlic bread was… how do we put this… extra crispy! 😅🔥

In a shocking turn of events, this masterpiece was crafted not by our talented members; but by the staff member on lunch duty. Yes, you read that right. The roles have officially reversed.

Staff: 0

We’re calling this one the Garlic Bread à la Charcoal. Limited edition. Not available by request.

On a real note, moments like these remind us it’s okay to laugh at ourselves, embrace imperfections, and enjoy the little (slightly overcooked) things together. 💛

Mental Health America of Hendricks County is proud to share our space with Unlikely Journeys, Inc as they bring a new, peer led support group focused on providing a safe, supportive environment for those experiencing thoughts of su***de. This group offers an alternative to silence, fostering connection, hope, and healing. If you or someone you know needs support, we invite you to join them May 6th at 6:30pm. You're not alone.

Ugly sweaters, good vibes, and bingo fun are happening TODAY! Grab your friends, family, or favorite bingo buddies and join us for an afternoon full of laughter, prizes, and holiday cheer. Come dressed in your boldest (or ugliest!) sweater and ready to play!
