Did you know there are over 80 kinds of dementia? This presentation will define dementia, explain why it is not part of normal aging, identify the warning signs, share communication techniques, and describe the most common forms of dementia, including Alzheimerβs. Presented by Amina Weiland, CDP, CDCP, certified dementia practitioner and resource coordinator for Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging.
People living with dementia, caregivers, and anyone who wants to learn more about dementia are encouraged to attend.
