🚧The West Beaver Creek Boulevard Bridge Rehabilitation Project will begin on September 8, 2026. Structural repairs and safety improvements are required to the bridge which carries West Beaver Creek Blvd over the Eagle River, just south of the pickleball courts and Avon Elementary School. The project is expected to be completed by early November 2026. 🚧

The construction contract has been awarded to Hallmark, Inc. Improvements will include concrete repairs, paving and new pedestrian hand railing.

Travel Impacts: Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians should anticipate intermittent impacts and temporary delays throughout construction:
o Work hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
o Motorists should expect single lane closures with alternating traffic across the bridge for the duration of the project.
o Daytime operations will have flaggers. At night, temporary traffic signals will be utilized.

The Town of Avon appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as these important improvements are made.

And of course, we’ll celebrate together after 🎉 All volunteers are invited to a Thank You Party from 12–3 PM with food, drinks, music, and prize giveaways.
