Twelve years ago today, on June 30, 2013, the town of Prescott, Arizona—and the entire nation—was shaken to its core by the loss of 19 brave souls. The Granite Mountain Hotshots, a crew of elite wildland firefighters, made the ultimate sacrifice battling the Yarnell Hill Fire. Their courage, their brotherhood, and their unwavering commitment to protecting others will never be forgotten.
