The Awendaw-McClellanville Fire Department is accepting applications for a Fire Captain from both internal and external candidates.

This leadership role is responsible for directing fire operations on shift, supervising personnel, and ensuring the safety, training, and performance of the crew. The Captain also plays a key role in incident command, fire prevention, and public education efforts throughout our community.

We are looking for an experienced firefighter ready to lead from the front, make critical decisions under pressure, and support both emergency response and day-to-day station operations.
