🔴🦅🔵Important Note Regarding Eagles Events🔴🦅🔵

Dear Families and Fans,

We love seeing our students and community come together to support our Eagles. To help keep everyone safe and make sure our events are enjoyable for all, we ask for your help with the following:

-All children in 5th grade and under need to enter with a parent or responsible adult
-Please help us by keeping students with you in the bleachers during games. Students should not be in hallways, unused areas of the school, or unsupervised areas of the football field. If they are, staff will direct them back to sit with their parent/adult
-Recess equipment is not available for use during games or school events
-Please use the designated doors when entering the school building. For safety, doors should not be propped open

We truly appreciate your cooperation. Our staff and volunteers are busy taking care of many details behind the scenes—from concessions to livestreams to cleanup—having your help allows us to keep our focus on running a safe and fun event for everyone.

Thank you for being an important part of what makes our school community strong. With your help, our games can continue to be positive, family-friendly experiences.

Planning to cheer on the Eagles this year? Athletic passes are a great way to catch all the action at home throughout the 2026-2027 school year!

Students K-5: $110
Adults: $125

Athletic passes provide admission to all home middle school and high school athletic events, with the exception of tournaments and KSHSAA postseason activities.

Thanks to Karen Todd for donating "Ella the Engineer and the Big Fix" by Sheree Utash and to the Arthur Barrett Chapter, Kansas Society of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution for donating "She Fought, Too" by Tara Ross. Students will enjoy these additions to the library.

The APS library has a few reading incentives to get students excited about reading. We have our punch cards, which is always a student favorite. We have our "Take a Trip With AR" incentive where students choose a vehicle and travel across the country using their AR points. There are several stops on our map where students earn various prizes. The "Ms. Kaster's Drink" is one of the most popular prizes. We also have a "Tattoo the Librarian" incentive to encourage students to read as many words as possible. At the end of the semester the class with the highest words per student average in each group will give the librarian an arm sleeve of temporary tattoos which she has to wear for a week. Just a reminder, if we do not have a book in the library, we can always order it from NEKLS.
