💚✨ Come Celebrate God’s Faithfulness With Us! ✨💚

With grateful hearts and great joy, Mt. Sinai Baptist Church invites you to gather with us for our Annual Homecoming & Revival 2026! Homecoming is a special time to reconnect, reflect on the journey, celebrate the blessings of God, and give thanks for the faithfulness that has carried us through the years. 🙌🏾

Our theme this year is “God Is Faithful” 1 Corinthians 1:9. And truly, when we look back over the years and see how far God has brought us, we can testify that He has been faithful!

💚 Homecoming: Sunday, September 13
Come worship with us at 10:00 AM, stay and enjoy a delicious Homecoming lunch, and then join us again for Prayer & Praise at 1:45p & 2:00 PM Evening Service. It will be a wonderful day of celebrating God’s goodness and fellowshipping with family and friends; old and new!

🔥 Revival: Tues. September 15–Thurs September 17
Prayer & Praise at 7:00 PM | Revival Service at 7:30 PM nightly

We are looking forward to 3 powerful nights of preaching, praise, and worship with our guest ministers, churches, and choirs. Come expecting God to revive, restore, renew, and encourage!

🙌🏾 Praise God for a Blessed Youth Sunday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church! 🎒✏️📚

What a beautiful day of worship, encouragement, and preparation as we prayed for and celebrated our youth who are beginning a new school year! ❤️

Our morning began with Sunday School and the lesson “Back to School With Courage,” based on Joshua 1:1–9, with the focal scripture:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

🎒 During the lesson, our students showed off their creativity by illustrating backpacks filled with spiritual tools they can carry with them throughout the school year: including faith, courage, peace, prayer, and God’s Word. What a wonderful reminder that wherever they go, God goes with them!

We continued praising God as our youth helped lead us in worship under the guidance of Sister Jasmine Coles; shared uplifting scripture and prayed The Lord’s Prayer. Each young person also told us the grade they have been promoted to and what they are most excited about as they head back to school. We are so proud of them and excited about what God has in store! 🙏🏾📚

✏️ Our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Charlene Gresham, then shared an inspiring and encouraging message entitled “I Got My Pencil,” reminding our youth, and all of us, to stay focused, write the vision, encourage and sharpen one another, and allow God to guide us along the way.

📖 Proverbs 27:17
“As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”

📖 Habakkuk 2:2
“Then the LORD answered me and said: ‘Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.’”

Our Pastor concluded with a special and powerful prayer over our youth and the entire congregation, asking God to cover, protect, strengthen, guide, and keep us as we move forward. 🙏🏾❤️

A special thank you to the MSBC Youth Ministry for blessing our students with Back-to-School gift cards and treats! 🎁🍭

As our young people begin this new school year, we pray that they will walk boldly and courageously, knowing that God is with them wherever they go!

✏️🎒 Stay focused. Be courageous. Write the vision. Do your best. And always remember: you’ve got everything you need when you’ve got God! 🙌🏾
