⚠️ Power Outage Update ⚠️
We are aware of the current power outage affecting the City of Aztec.
The outage originated within the Farmington Electric Utility System and is impacting portions of our community. Utility crews are actively working to locate the source of the outage and restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Please be aware that restoration may take some time.
We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while crews work to resolve the issue.
For the latest updates and additional information regarding restoration efforts, please follow the Farmington Electric Utility System page.
If you encounter any emergency situations, please call 911. For non-emergency police assistance, contact our non-emergency dispatch line.

We have a 69 kv transmission line that has tripped. This is affecting numerous customers as well as the city of Aztec. Crews are headed to patrol the lines. This could possibly be a staggered restoration of power once portions of the line are cleared for a safe return to service.
