If utilizing the Thursday yard-waste pickup included in your garbage services, please be sure to separate grass clippings from sticks & other yard waste. This service is for grass clippings, leaves, brush, branches, and garden refuse ONLY; trash should not be included in bags or mixed with compost for Thursday pick ups.

Bags of yard waste must be liftable and not overstuffed to the point of bags breaking and sticks/brush should be in manageable bundles.

The City of Babbitt Recreation Department has an opening for the Assistant Recreation Coordinator! This position works 32-hours per week, includes a union contract, and had ESST, sick, and PTO benefits included. The PUC Watering Hours are in full effect! Watering hours are 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Washing cars is permissible at any time in driveways only. Watering at other times is in violation of City Ordinance No. 111 and will be enforced by the Babbitt Police Department.

Please comply with these hours to avoid further restrictions.

Exciting happenings coming this summer! Beginning June 4th, 2026 the Babbitt Farmers Market will be held on Thursday evenings from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., rain or shine! The weekly market will take place in the city's public park located on Central Boulevard and is organized by the Babbitt Farmers Market!
