As we finish up the school year, Bad Axe FFA would like to celebrate what our members have been doing over the last few months.

Not only did we have four teams receive state awards, but two of those teams were state runner-ups in Jr. High Horse Judging & High School Land Conservation - one was the state winner in Jr. High Horse Judging.

Congratulations to Mollie Kaczuk, Hunter Dheel, and Caitlyn Bulla on being named the Michigan FFA Jr. High Horse Judging State Champions! A special thank you to Jade Stilson, our high school mentor, for coaching all of our horse judging teams.

We are so proud of all of you!

🏃‍♀️💨🏅 BAHS students Abbie Baranski, Olivia Brown, Julie Gordon, Emma Priddy, & Aubrey London recently received a send-off to the State Track Tournament they won’t soon forget! Thanks to the PSC committee, they were treated to goodie bags to help fuel their journey, & the entire school showed its support with signs to be paraded through the halls!

Hatchets at BAMS wrapped up the school year with their presentation of "One Last Lip Sync"! Students choreographed routines & selected songs to perform for friends & family.. What an awesome way to celebrate the end of the year! 🎤✨🎵🕺💃🎉

Today's 2nd-grade send-off was a little bittersweet. 💙🍎

While we celebrated our amazing 2nd-grade Hatchets& all they have accomplished this year, we also took time to honor 2nd-grade teacher, Mrs. Gordon, as she begins her retirement.

BAPS is a better place because of Mrs. Gordon & the countless young minds she has nurtured & helped grow throughout the years. Her dedication, kindness, & impact on our students will be felt for generations to come.

We wish her nothing but happiness and success as she begins this exciting new chapter in life. Thank you for everything, Mrs. Gordon!
