Badin Historic Museum is proud to announce the launch of a new FREE tour app for Badin! We've partnered with the STQRY App storytelling platform to create these experiences that we hope will enable everyone to enjoy this lovely town and its rich history. The three tours of historic Badin can be viewed from home on a computer or via the app downloaded onto a smart phone. The first tour is a walking tour which includes an interactive map that will lead you through the streets of Badin and includes historic photos, oral history audios, and detailed narratives. But all three tours take you on a journey you can even enjoy from home. See the graphic for QR codes to download the app, and also the web address to view on a computer browser.

Today and tomorrow Emergency Management agencies and personnel are conducting training exercises in the Town of Badin.

Reminder: Emergency Management agencies and personnel will conduct training in the Town of Badin on Thursday and Friday, August 27th and 28th. An increased number of emergency response units will be present to participate in the training. Properties to be utilized include Waterfront Park and the Town’s ballfield, as well as activities on the water and air.

An additional training event will take place in the fall and information will be provided once these dates are established.

Emergency Management agencies and personnel will conduct training on various facilities in Badin next week Thursday, August 27th and Friday, August 28th. Residents will see an increased number of emergency services during this time.

Town of Badin road closure announcement.

Walnut Street will be closed near the gazebo to through traffic from Sunday morning August 9th until Tuesday evening August 11th. The temporary closure is for crosswalk and street maintenance.

Conference center renovations are well underway. Work will be continuing over the next two months or so. The entire building is getting a facelift with priority given to the new DRs office. Stay tuned for more updates.
