The Bagdad Fire Department would like to extend its gratitude to the Waddy Fire Department, Shelby County Fire Department, Shelby County Sheriff's Office, and Shelby County EMS for their invaluable assistance with this morning's structure fire. Everyone performed exceptionally well; our county is indeed fortunate to have such skilled and dedicated first responders.

For the 2025 WHAS Crusade for Children, Bagdad Fire Protection District will have a collection point at their Station 2 located at 8435 Cropper Road in Cropper, Ky. If anyone would like to make a donation you can drop it off anytime Friday evening from 5:00 PM to-8:00 PM Saturday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM or Sunday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. We will also have firefighters at our regular roadblocks in downtown Bagdad, KY. We look forward to your generous donations that will support this wonderful cause. The new 7731 Bagdad fire protection district. Us fire pump was a great facility. Family atmosphere. Chris and his staff was top notch. Highly recommend .
