THE LAST DAY TO USE THE DEMO PIT IS AUGUST 22. iT WILL BE CLOSED AND WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY BIG LOADS UNTIL THE CONSTUCTION OF THE NEW PIT IS COMPLETE IN OCTOBER.
PLEASE ANTICIPATE YOUR NEEDS.

Baggs Solid Waste is informing the public of some changes happening in the next few months.

August through October

We will be making a cease and transfer which will entail the closing of our current Construction and Demolition pit. Therefore, we will NOT BE accepting large loads, large trash baskets, house trailers, or campers or anything else that needs to be placed in the pit in large quantities.

A portion of the landfill will be closed during the new construction. We will accept SMALL loads of demo, and they will be placed in containers at the landfill.

The Animal Mortality Pit will also be closing, and we WILL NOT accept animal or animal waste until the new composting pad is completed, Animals and animal waste will need to be separated prior to disposal for more information please contact the office at 383-7678
Household garbage, green waste, wood and metal will continue to operate as normal. Please cover your load, tarps are provided at the scale house.
Please anticipate your needs as soon as possible. If have any questions, please contact Landfill or any board members.
