We had a great time at the Apple festival at Rice Lake community center! It was such a beautiful day to get out, visit with our neighbors, and meet so many wonderful people from around the community!
I had the opportunity to talk with lots of great folks, hear what’s important to them, answer questions and simply enjoy some good conversation. These are the moments that make being part of a community so special.
A great big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and visit with us! We truly appreciate your support and the time you took to get to know me.
We’re looking forward to continuing to travel around Clearwater County meeting more of you and hearing your thoughts about the future of our county and Sheriff’s Office.

What a great weekend at Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers Show!🚜🇺🇸
It was a beautiful weekend celebrating our areas rich agricultural history, hard-working families, and their tradition that make our community so special.
I always enjoy getting out meeting people, and taking time to appreciate the history and heritage of Clearwater County and the surrounding communities. There’s something pretty special about seeing those old machines still running and hearing the stories behind them!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Pioneer Farmers show such a great event. And congratulations on 50 years!!! 🎉🥳👏

To the citizens of Clearwater County:

After this week’s primary election, I have been asked by many of my supporters about who I would endorse as the best candidate for Sheriff, so I am writing this letter to express my support for Clarence LaCroix for Sheriff of Clearwater County.

I believe Clarence has the most relevant experience and dedication necessary to serve our community as Sheriff. The position of Sheriff carries tremendous responsibility, and our community deserves someone who will lead with truthfulness, professionalism, accountability, and respect for the people they serve.

I am confident that Clarence will work hard to support the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office while also building strong relationships with the citizens, businesses, and organizations throughout our county. His commitment to our community makes him qualified to serve as our next Sheriff.

I respectfully encourage everyone to support Clarence LaCroix for Sheriff.

We made it through the primary!
Today I am filled with gratitude. To every person who knocked on doors, made phone calls, put up signs, shared posts, baked cookies, showed up to events, payed, and simply to the time to talk with me about the future of Clearwater County - Thank you.
To my wife, Katie and our kids: you carried more of this than anyone will ever know. Your love and patience made every long day possible.
To the volunteers, friends, neighbors, and fellow first responders who stood with us: this campaign has never been about one person. It’s about the people of this county and the kind of Sheriffs Office we want to build together - one rooted in service, respect, and integrity. The primary is behind us. The real work continues. I’m ready for it, and I’m grateful to keep walking this road with all of you.
